Re-imagining an industrial complex of historical buildings into a high-density, mixed-used, live-work-play precinct. This required working very sensitively in-between the existing buildings retaining the most important parts.   The precinct thereby retains its industrial character whilst adding a much needed inner city housing component.

370 Main road houses a cluster of old existing brick and concrete buildings that have a unique character.  The patterned brick saw-tooth facade facing Main Road, was designed by Andrews and Niegeman, a well known architectural firm also responsible for the iconic Rex Trueform II building further down the road.  The existing steel windows, large timber doors, and varied brick textures are all elements that define the unique character of the site.
